OMG a full on day in The Lady Cave. Acrylics, Gelish polish, LED polish, foils, studs, glitz... it's endless... FUN FUN FUN!
A lovely regular is getting married next month and today she went for sculpts, polish, studs, nail art as a prelude to 'getting used to nails before the big day' (see if you can find which set of nails is hers) LOL... all today's clients were nail biters in varying degrees; they all chose to go with sculpted nails for length, strength, control to preserve good nail health and from then to now, they have gone from strength to strength.... very proud of all you lovelies!
Congrats to Bailey Quinns Styling: Dave Peni you have sooo got this Stella Award woohoo..... all the lead ups and the big day is a few weeks away now... Jan-marie Quinn we are so gonna rock your nails heheheeee.... did I tell yous I am very good at writing speeches LOL - so happy for yous muchly (o;
My moko Kalo King booked in like everyone else for her 1yr anniversary nails and today chose sculpted acrylics, custom LED polish mixes and glitz in her first time ever almolettos (she is in love with them).... touched me much cos she made a big speech to me about paying her way in life now and taking responsibility... thank you for paying for your nails, Nanny will get yous around for a nice dinner soon (will post her pics later)... TRY IT OUT TUESDAY....

Never ceases to amaze me when what is booked as a certainty changes upon the arrival for a service... isn't it great when ladies become inspired to try something different???
Love is in the air for a couple of ladies. One has a 2yr anniversary and the other has a 3yr.... 

they both wanted some LOVE nails so to reflect it we kept it simple but fun .

More and more ladies are embracing the almond and almoletto shaped nails and that's great to see. 

Stella's bur-berry nails were an impulse and one she's in love with LOL... color, shape, pearls, striping were on the menu today!

WICKED WEDNESDAY!

Another day of 'nothing but nails' LOL...
Two new clients Beth: acrylic sculpts + nature flesh LED polish and Susan: acrylic sculpts + nature pink LED polish . These 2 ladies came for a Buddy Up French white tip special and instead chose to go with the elite set of acrylics - beautiful! See you both next month for your next service.
I think it's fair to mention that what might be someone's cup-of-tea may not be yours, but that's what makes us unique in our choices. I love that you have choices and those that step out of their comfort zone every so often is admirable... TBH most of my clients are sticklers for the clean cut classic look ie: classic white frenchies or natural shades of LED polish manicure and so on... it's great to have a mixed palette on display every day... thanks for that ladies...

YEEYAHHH we did 9 applications today not 8 LOL... my beautiful sister in law showed up after I completed my last lady so we had a wine and gasbagged while the boys chilled over a beer. It was so awesome to catch up with family that we haven't seen for so long and what a great Xmas surprise it was - thanks so much Debbie Ruru, love you my sis x0x0x

Deb: Humpty's eldest sister had an acrylic backfill; neon LED pink polish, LED latte lace polish; big silver reflector glitz ring finger feats with clear 2mm 3mm clear crystals.

Tayla: Mini-Pedicure - LED polish cheetah on her natural nails.

Abs Raharuhi: this lass wanted bright so this is a mini-pedicure ; burnt tangerine/peach LED polish with peach sprinkle glitz - crystals are 5mm clear teardrops HOT HOT HOT - getting her 'beach on' LOL...

Casey: she wanted something different to represent Xmas and discovering her name was meant to be Cherry, I thought I would represent by doing a LED polish design of Xmas Cherries - 2 coats translucent candy apple red with pearlescent, polish stem and teardrop peridot crystal for leaf.

As per the usual - catch y'all up in the A.M... off now for dinner at Mummy's at Acacia Bay - hungus much LOL xxx
