It was so awesome to catch up with family that we haven't seen for so long and what a great Xmas surprise it was - thanks so much Debbie Ruru, love you my sis x0x0x

Deb: Humpty's eldest sister had an acrylic backfill; neon LED pink polish, LED latte lace polish; big silver reflector glitz ring finger feats with clear 2mm 3mm clear crystals.

Tayla: Mini-Pedicure - LED polish cheetah on her natural nails.

Abs Raharuhi: this lass wanted bright so this is a mini-pedicure ; burnt tangerine/peach LED polish with peach sprinkle glitz - crystals are 5mm clear teardrops HOT HOT HOT - getting her 'beach on' LOL...

Casey: she wanted something different to represent Xmas and discovering her name was meant to be Cherry, I thought I would represent by doing a LED polish design of Xmas Cherries - 2 coats translucent candy apple red with pearlescent, polish stem and teardrop peridot crystal for leaf.

One of my most 'bold regs' steps up next for her combo LED polish manicure/pedicure... none other than the lovely Abs Raharuhi with a basket of home baked cupcakes YUSS CUPCAKES: red velvet and choc cake with gobs of icing NOM NOM greedy me much LOL... well it probably won't do her any favours cos she brings me some goodies (oh the famz are gonna make you bake dozens for them cos I let the cat outta the bag) bahahahaaa... I am so spoiled and I appreciate everything you lovelies bring ME xxx
Abs just told me BLUE upon her arrival so here's an ombre in blues, silver holo, gold holo and leopard print nail art in black LED polish... nothing but the best for Abs cos that's how she rolls!!!

Happy 2014 and welcome to motherhood Sheila: this gorg mummy was in for her LED polish manicure... she had a daughter 9 days ago and her name is Katherine and they nicknamed her Kitty so to celebrate that Sheila went with a hot pink with white polka dot design and to cap it off I hand painted some Kitty Cat feats as a celebration to the birth of this lovely baby girl (thanks for bringing her in when hubby picked you up; something about the feel and smell of newborns).... beautiful my friend... see you next month xxx

Firstly, thank you to Deb, Indee and Rayshel for letting me cancel out till Sunday so I could spend time with Karl's great aunty and attend a specialist appt (uhhhh nahhhh cancel the specialist as well); family more important!

I have had a marvelous 'Freaky Friday'. Great clients, was awesome to catch up with a couple of them for 2014 AND most of all so so pleased to have had Great Aunty Maureen visit. The last of the Thomas aunties alive... she arrived at 10am and left at 3.20pm to pick up her moko from kindy; even though I had clients she bowled along unobtrusively with Karl till I could join them. Loving you aunty, and just as a toppa I gave her hard working loving hands a lil' ole LED polish manicure in her chosen colors of 'matte lilac' and 'white wedding' Gelish feats with some old fashion rose nail art. Loving you aunty... Karl was so thrilled to have you visit him... safe trip home to Tokoroa x0x

My day was concluded with the lovely Tamsin: crystal acrylic sculpts on forms; almond shaped with LED polish manicure in 'red-a-kill' and custom mix glitz over gunmetal grey LED polish... these are stunning and they so suit Tamsin to a tee... see you next month babe (o;

At this stage I have still not decided on what will be the specials for the month of Feb as the month is nearly 1/2 way gone LOL... Monday is when I am targeting to list acrylics, gels, Gel polish and LED polish specials for the months of Feb and March combined, however, if that doesn't eventuate then we are just gonna roll on as per the norm. As it stands there is nobody who can match the prices or the products any way, and with the implementation of The Rewards Card, guess it can be fair to say "I give more than I make" and that's the way I like it!

Point of reference: I have been asked on the PM all day if my LED polishes are AGC (Artistic Colour Gloss) by CND because the bottles appear the same. NO THESE ARE NOT AGC - THESE ARE BETTER!!!
These are Cover Girl USA: these polishes are not the normal 3 step application whereby you lay down the basecoat, followed by 2 coats of colour then complete with the topcoat... UH UH...
The One Step System means: they are 3 in 1: basecoat, colour coat and topcoat ALL IN THE ONE APPLICATION!
Those clients that have worn these polishes know exactly how WICKED they are! Paint it, cure it in 30secs and you're good to go! No dispersion layer to wipe away - cuticle oil, hand lotion massage and Sayonara LOL...
Hope that has cleared those queries up! They are currently at their normal price of $40 a one color manicure; pending on your wants if you're wanting a feat finger I'll usually let it ride... hence why I am in a quander as to whether I am gonna lower the prices.... WE WILL SEE!
Gelish polish manicure's are at $30 as it stands so again.... WE WILL SEE!

Another question that chokes my PM is if I do Shellac Gel Nails?
Shellac IS NOT a gel polish ladies!
Shellac is a HYBRID POLISH meaning: it is made like a normal polish but it has properties that make it perform like a gel polish: longer wear, lacquer tough, super shine and no harmful chemicals - the polish soaks off just like gels - hence why named a Power Polish!
Hope that has also set the record straight LOL.. YES I do Shellac but NOPE I PREFER Gelish polish and LED polish - in my opinion, far superior polishes!

OMG my PM is so inundated with so called 'Gel Nail' requests!

CORRECTION: Gelish nails ARE NOT GEL NAILS!!!
Gelish is a Harmony Brand of Gel Polish (a top brand product)!!! I have many many of these POLISHES!

I have ladies asking me if they can come for $30 gel nails.... uhhhhh come again! Apparently someone is advertising gel nails for $30 when actually you are getting a Gelish gel polish manicure - that in itself is an excellent price!
DON'T BE FOOLED - GELISH POLISH IS NOT GEL NAILS!!!

GEL NAILS ARE: made just like acrylics using BUILDER GELS!
This can be via the use of 'sculpt forms' or a tip application followed by builder gels to fill and make the nail (just like you would using acrylic).
Builder gels are the ONLY gels that make GEL NAILS!
The gels are of a viscosity that has a harder set; strong like acrylic EXCEPT they FLEX. They are super glossy, super lacquered AND FAR EXCEED THE PRICE TAG OF $30 - at least professionally they do!

I feel sorry for the clients whom believe they are getting gel nails when really they are getting a 'gel polish mani'. TRUST ME: if you came to me for a set of gel nails, you bet your bottom $$ you will certainly know the difference between a GELISH polish and a GEL NAIL!
How rude - that is a bloody rip off and false advertising!!!

NEVER RUSHED HERE - get tired cos I'm Wonder Woman' LOL... but the nail service is NEVER compromised!
