Sarah was in for a LED polish mini-manicure. This was a very vicious nail biter with barely any natural nail to attach a form for a sculpt extension. This is 7wks of treatment and this baby is crackin' it with her nail naturals. Short is as stylish as long and in many cases, much prettier.

This is Abs Raharuhi. She was in for her acrylic backfill and I took away the gold haze over a purple custom glitz. We stripped it back to its base and reworked it to a clean and simple custom gel metallic royal purple glitz. Looks very navy in a certain light then the metallic kick in to reveal a hot heavy purple. Beautiful, just like Abs.

No flies on this girl today...cranked it out staccato in The Lady Cave @ Needy Nails Taupo on this sunny TIPS ON TUESDAY 

Well it was a day of double bookings and the ladies came-a-calling kind of like Noah's Ark????....2 by 2 LOL... only one solo in the form of Megan, back from holiday down in Invercargill. Boyyyy did she have some munted digits so on with the butterfly forms to sculpt some hard UV/led gel extensions then a marbling design in 3 shades of purple (and they would definitely attract Christian Gray) hehehe.., French style swagg and tapping in mylar foil silver and purple hug hlight feats...these are totally gorgeous....just for Megan. Besties Jen and Holly were first in: acrylic tip extensions then the trusty Shellac. Dayla and Fee had acrylic tip extensions, Shellac and foil feats to pop those nails BOOM! Rounding my day off nicely were the irrepressible Anja and Simone flying high with their Shellac manicure designs on their natural nails. More ladies making good choices to change those nail biting habits. WOMEN POWER... thank you ladies for a fantastic day.

The News @ 6 whilst loading my pics and post is what I'm about on this WOWZER WEDNESDAY in The Lady Cave @Needy Nails Taupo .

Lots of good news shared amongst clients Gemma, Hilde, Maata, Jude, Thyne, Rose and Kim . Without name dropping LOL, 2 of today's ladies will be celebrating wedding nuptials later in the year YAY! Congrats you deserved gals, can't wait to design your nail needs .

One word: EXTENSIONS! This really is getting so popular as everyone is loving the idea of some added length to enjoy a new nail shape or nail strength to highlight their choice of a pretty color polish. I have to confess that my usage of glitter has dropped vastly with the large range of gel polishes at hand for selection. The metallic are super popular especially the chrome silver or the scope of customizing colors by layering with Shellac....the options are limitless and anything is achievable when consulting beforehand to see what suits your wants and the utmost nail health integrity is paramount. Roll on Nail Divas .

I am finding more and more ladies are enjoying the savings of extra $$$$ in their budget that allows for an extra color or some nail art by buying their Magic Removal Kits and maintaining their nails between services. Just buy more removal wraps, files and cuticle oil when needing to top up and you can't go wrong. Awesome job maintaining ladies .

Sorry to come off as though I'm stalling yous on the PM for weekend applications. I am still undecided whether i will be here in town or away for a couple of nights....will write a post Friday once i'm certain.

A big hearty YO to y'all on this MANI MONDAY .

All i can say is 12 yrs today! Any guesses as to what that means????? LOL...

A lot has happened since last Friday. A wonderful weekend indeed. 

SIZZLING SATURDAY saw a motley of Shellac services and biggest color choices were mostly in purple as seen here by Grace, Ashley and Stella flying solo with no enhancements at all now. They're converted nail biters doing what they can to make that change. No matter what unqualified babblers say, the psyche of nail biting is EMOTIONAL and it reverts from CHILDHOOD. A fact. No amount of product or pretty paint jobs will change that unvarnished truth. As a technician one has the power to aesthetically tidy and aid your nail health BUT psychologically it can only be controlled by ones own person hood. There is NO CURE. There is no quick fix. It is time, patience, willingness and understanding that will haul you into a better space to control the compulsion to bite and pick. These ladies are proof of taking ownership of that and after 3 weeks it's definitely showing healthy results. It's a long lonely path to walk for variable reasons but it can be controlled, compassionately. Well done ladies, take the pat on the back....you all deserve it.

Ella Martelli booked a service for her cousin Elesha: French white acrylics with white butterfly and purple stone feats. This lady is owner to a very compromised pair of hands and nails. Her journey is so emotional and if pics had been taken BEFORE her service, one would be astounded at the outcome. Well done Elesha, you are an awesome soul and Ella you are a fabulous cousin.
Jessica Andrews had a LED polish removal then a set of acrylic extensions with a custom Trademark black color over application and reflector gold haze. Again we sculpted her a little pinky nail to suit her ensemble.
